Setup your Facebook login details and then onwards, you will be able to login to your Facebook account with just a click. You can configure up to 10 accounts.
If you stumble upon Facebook login page, this extension's sigin-in assistant will popup the configured accounts so that you can login easily and automatically.
It can display desktop notifications from all your configured Facebook accounts. You can decide the update frequency, when to close the notifications and the sound to be played for notifications. It has the ability to run in the background to notify you right from the system startup, even when Chrome is closed.
A Password Manager, Login Helper and Notifier, explicitly for your Facebook accounts! You will never have to type your Facebook credentials again!
Your account password (optional), is stored encrypted in your local storage, the standard mechanism provided for extensions to store values, ideally accessible only by the extension that stores it. Quick Login will not be responsible for any third party breaches to the local storage.
Configure your Facebook™ accounts here.
- Name : This will show up for selecting the Facebook™ account when fbQuickLogin extension is clicked. Your Email will show up, if the Name is not provided.
- Email : Your Facebook™ account user email.
- Password : Your Facebook™ account password (Optional). if password is not provided here, extension will stop the auto login process for you to enter the password.
- Use Secure URL (available in advanced mode): Enable this, if the login has to be attempted using the secure (https) link.
- Facebook Feed URL (available in advanced mode): Provide the notification feed URL so that you can see the Facebook™ notifications without logging in to your account. This is a standard mechanism provided by Facebook™. To retrieve this URL, follow the steps provided in this link.
- Desktop Notification (Optional, available in advanced mode): Enable this to display desktop notifications. Notifications are limited to 5 per account and it will work only when notification feed is specified. Know more about desktop notifications here.
- Notification Frequency : Time interval in minutes, at which the feeds has to be checked for new notifications.
- Close notification delay : Provide a duration after which the notifications will auto-close. If set to zero, the notifications will be displayed until you manually close.
- Use Current tab : When enabled, the extension will load pages in the current active tab. This applies to the links opened from desktop notifications too.
- Play Sound : Select the sound to be played, when a new notification message arrives.
- Keep it running : Select this setting, if you want fbQuickLogin to show desktop notifications even when Chrome is closed. Chrome will launch fbQuickLogin at system startup and will keep it running. You can access fbQuickLogin settings from the system tray.
